The
Guinguette, an open-air
restaurant of the Canal District,
is now officially opened to visit!
:)
Then, I'm experimenting a new kind
of non-stories. Instead of focusing
on a household or on an event, I focused
on a period of time. I often jump
from a Sim to another when I play,
and it made sense to me to have a
non-story written this way, at least
for this update. So, you can read
the Chronicles
of Sim-Avril (2007) to
know all the noticable events that
happened during that time. :)

I haven't
posted for a while because I first
have been busy with another story
than my Sims in Sandy valley! Yes!
I wanted to try one of Estatica's
tombs, as they looked really different
from EA's ones (that I find totally
pointless), and indeed, it was a lot
of fun. The whole experience is shared
a story at the Sims Daily forum, as
the main characters were Dailies (sims-selves
of forum members). It's called: The
Dailies & the Treasure of the
Hathaway Mansion, and
warning, it's a major spoiler for
anyone who wants to play with this
tomb. ;)
Then, it's real life that made me
busy... Finally, last saturday, I
had a couple of hours to launch my
game. I was too tired and too lazy
to set up anything too elaborated,
so I just called my Sims, invited
them at the Irish Pub (it was Patrick
day's in RL, and sim-march in game,
the opportunity was too obvious! ;)),
and then, I just watched, and my Sims
did their show. :)
It's Saint-Patrick's
Day! Read more...

Last
Sim-Tuesday was Mardi-Gras in Sandy
Valley. The kids of the primary school
had their very own Carnaval
on that occasion. Read
more...
It's also the first update with a
sim-date: this non-story is happening
during Sim-February 2007. If you want
to read more about my new aging system,
much more free and easy to use than
my previous, it's here: aging
system. You'll also learn
why we're in 2007. :)

One
more update! It really helps to have
the site in english only! :)
That's another Valentine Day story,
this time starring the politican Damien
Demazières, who is trying to
rebuild
his reputation before
the elections of the mayorship...

As
I've decided to now only write in english
on this site, I might have more time
for updates... Of course, what I really
need is time to PLAY, but at least,
I won't feel too discoraged by the work
to do when I have a short non-story
to post. ;)
Today, we'll follow Edwige Fabulard
in the
organization of a teens party
for her daughter and her
exchange student. Not exactly the wildest
party ever, though...
If you have sunglasses or aspirin, you
can visit the Fabulard's
house here. But you've
been warned... It's Patty and Edwige
who made the decoration. Just as wild
as they like...

I'm also posting here a short non-story
already posted at the
Sims Daily forum, because it was
my entry to the Be
my Valentine challenge. The idea
was to set a romantic date between two
Sims, to let the things go, and to tell
a story about it. And it was pretty
much a failure: Shortest
date ever in the Sims history!
Have I mentioned that there's a participation
prize for whoever who tells us a story
about Valentine day, Sims 1, 2 or 3,
and that the gift, originally made for
Sims 3, could be easily remade for Sims
1 or 2, if needed? ;)

Note pour mes lecteurs francophones.

There's
obviously Sims I want to play more
often than others, and Chloé
is one of them, so... we'll follow
the Degnome's
sisters during few more days!
;)
You might meet new faces in town:
the
Dailies. These are sim-selves
of my buddies at the Sims
Daily Forum (that you can join
at any time if you enjoy chats about
the game... ;)), and they spend holidays
in Sandy Valley. I don't play them,
but it's fun to see them among my
Sims. *chuckle* What they do is told
on the forum, though, as it seemed
more relevant.

I haven't
found yet the time to play this year,
but I update with some progresses
made in town! :)
First, as you might have seen with
my latest set, I renovated the Station-Museum.
Then, I finally create a district
page for the Canal
District. The district
is still under construction (but all
my town is always and will always
be under construction!), but there's
now lots that you can visit, like
the Rue
du Chat qui vole, with its pet
shop and tea room,
the flowers market, the Catacombs,
that you have already seen with the
Halloween party, and the Canal
banks. More lots to visit will
be added later. :)
